Course Description
This module
is designed to meet the needs of individual health care providers in the Prevention of Workplace
Violence This module defines types of workplace violence, methods for prevention, and lists
some effective interventions. It also includes two case scenarios that put into practice
the learner understands of the material.
This module includes ways for you to detect and prevent violence in the workplace. Upon completion
of this learning activity, the learner will be more confident in assessing for signs of violence
in the workplace and be familiar with various intervention options to select from.

This module
is designed to assist healthcare workers recognize the signs and symptoms of workplace violence
and recommended interventions to take.
