Course Description
This module
includes a review of cardiac risk factors, history taking and assessment tips for the patient
with chest pain. Patient education and identifying their personal risk factors is paramount
in the prevention of cardiac disease. The author relates real life experiences at the bedside
to the underlying physiology to promote the development critical thinking skills.
This course has the goal of facilitating knowledge and confidence in the care of the patient
at risk for developing cardiac disease. Cardiac Risk Factor & History Taking Assessment
is also used as a great orientation tool for nurses wishing to pursue a career in the field
of Cardiology.
Target Audience
