Course Description
This module
includes a comprehensive guide to performing an advanced head to toe physical assessment.
This module features tips for efficient and effective interview skills as well as methods
to employ when performing neurological, respiratory, circulatory, abdominal, and extremity
assessment. Additional considerations and potential medication effects are also discussed
in relation to the systems that are being assessed. An A, B, C approach is offered from A=airway
to F=Finishing Touches.
This course has the goal of facilitating knowledge and confidence in the physical assessment
and daily care of the patient. . Adult Physical Assessment is a great tool for nurses wishing
