This module
includes a brief review of coronary arteries, risk factors, types of infarcts and assessment
tips for the patient with chest pain. The author relates real life experiences at the bedside
to the underlying physiology to promote the development critical thinking skills via testing
with a case scenario.
This course has the goal of facilitating knowledge and confidence in the care of the cardiac
patient. This module is designed to meet the needs of nurses in the adult sector looking
to upgrade their knowledge in reference to myocardial injury in adults.
