Course Description
This module
includes a brief overview of the physiology of gas exchange and partial pressures, along
with steps toward rapid blood gas interpretation. It also includes a case scenario that puts
into practice the learner’s understanding of the material.
Target Audience
This module
is designed for nurses who are currently working with any patient who may require analysis
of blood gas results. It can also be used as an orientation tool for nurses new to this responsibility.
