Learning Managment System Integration
Web Services is an API layer
built on top of the LearningServer application that allows external applications to maintain
or retrieve data from the LearningServer database by consuming the various methods of the Web
Service. This can be on a one time or recurring basis.
A Web Service is defined as a software system designed to support interoperable Machine to Machine interaction over a network.
Web services are frequently just Web APIs that can be accessed over a network, such as the Internet, and executed on a remote system
hosting the requested services. Using this variety of transport bindings, data integration
with other systems may be easily accomplished in synchronous, asynchronous or
scheduled modes.
LearningServer includes Web Services support with each implementation, which enables tight data synchronization and integration
with existing ERP, Learning Management, or HR systems.
LearningServer is the most comprehensive and flexible e-learning solution on the market today, and can effectively and efficiently
integrate instructor led training, virtual classroom training, web based training skills and competencies, collaboration, e-commerce
and knowledge sharing into a complete enterprise wide or departmental e-learning initiative.
